He means that he had one bad inning. Of course I did not understand it the first time I read it and I did not care until you pointed it out. Of course you can go lose method in one inning like Harvey Haddix on May 26, 1959.

Being an Angels fan from So Cal, this season has really gone south. Four-game sweep by the Rays in Anaheim. What a disappointment this team has become. Our pitching has fallen apart, our offense is producing but can't seem to catch a break because of the pitching. It's becoming dreadful to watch.

The YANKEES conclude the weekend series in New York with the bosux taking two of three games. The YANKEES now travel to Chicago to play the first place White Sox a three all night game series starting tonight.

One heck of a rotten game by the YANKEE team last night losing to the Pale Hose 9-6. Individual standouts don't cut it. Everyone on the team decides who wins and who losses. Shape up guys.

Another clunker from the YANKEES losing two straight to the Sox and losing the series. Phil Hughes goes tonight to avoid the sweep and conclude twenty games in twenty days. Off day Thursday and CC Sabathia after a stint on the 15 day DL is slated to pitch Fridays game.

the WHITE SOX needed those wins after getting swept by the Royals. The Youkilis grand slam was pretty sweet. I'm just glad we're in it at this point...
