In the Course of three days, the Rangers lost the AL West and the AL Wildcard Game.

While that infield fly call was bs the Braves deserved to lose that game. The defense was atrocious. It's like the team was channeling their Brooks Conrad.

You should have been calling for an infield fly rule when Bartman caught the ball in 2003. From what I can tell, Joe Torre thinks the entire stadium is the infield.

The new division series format is probably the worst change the MLB has made since 'this time it matters.'

Yeah.. I am a Tigers fan and it benefits them this season.. but I do not like it at all.. Tigers would not of won a close game like today on the road

Awful, absolutely awful. Still don't understand why travel time is such a big deal considering these guys fly in private planes.

Should we all laugh at Nats for not letting Strasburg pitch? Kinda pathetic they end up in the playoffs and wont let their best pitcher pitch...I mean why is he there if not to win the World Series?

The Nats never thought they'd be this good this soon. Otherwise they'd have limited Strasburg's innings early in the season as opposed to just letting him pitch until he hit their innings cap. They're right for not wanting to risk his arm for the future.

lol the whole point in playing this game is winning a World Series. They are in the playoffs let him f'n pitch for a chance to win a World Series

There is a chance they are never this good again. It is insane not to let him pitch in the PLAYOFFS

Guess they think it's going to be easy to get back into the playoffs and win a WS in the future. Never understood the concept of contending teams playing for "the future"

I don't care how much talent you have; it's not easy to win a WS. Just ask the 1996-2005 Atlanta Braves.
