The YANKEES and Andy Pettitte, the best left handed pitcher in baseball over the past twenty years have come to a mutual agreement for the 2013 season. Slowly but surely the pieces are coming together for the YANKEES for 2013.

Rivera has been signed for one year. That gives the YANKEES the best shortstop, Jeter, best left handed pitcher, Pettitte, and the best closer Rivera, in baseball over the past twenty years on the roster for one more season.

I thought the best player in baseball was determined by WIN METHOD, joke? By virtue of your own so-called system Derek Jeter hasn't been the best player in baseball in YEARS. I think you are reading into Jeters injury a make believe scenario. Jeter was playing the last six weeks of the season hurt and his give it all mental attitude (that of a champion), was probably the biggest culprit in the injury. Jeter will be fine and as good as new. No argument from the WIN METHOD on Jeter not being the best shortstop the last few years, and even over his career he was not the best shortstop most of the years. However over his career he has been the best more times than any other shortstop, then throw in the second bests, and then throw in the top five or six and over his career, he has been the best shortstop in the game. His range has always been exception except in the eyes of the stat fraud freaks who die by meaningless man man convoluted stat formulas. What he does even now is better than most. Offensively, just amazing. and yes he should start tailing off, but he is better then most in every which way.
