Re: 2012 World Series: Detroit Tigers vs. San Francisco Giants
I think most of the country felt the same way. I didn't, but San Fran earned the trip. Rooting for Detroit, but I think it'll be a competitive series. Cardinals would have gotten Sanduskied by Detroit's pitching.

Rooting for the Tigers. But ultimately, I don't give a **** who wins.

Rooting for the Tigers. We've been playing like the best team in baseball for damn near a month now, but will we keep it up?

Re: 2012 World Series: Detroit Tigers vs. San Francisco Giants
After this series, Buster Posey could realistically have 2 World Series titles, a World Series MVP, an NL batting title, NL ROY and NL MVP in his first two full seasons.

Could care less about baseball really, but since Rangers are my team and Giants and Cardinals beat them in the WS recently - go Tigers.

Re: 2012 World Series: Detroit Tigers vs. San Francisco Giants
Who would have thought 3 months ago Tim Lincecum would relief Barry Zito in game one of the world series leading 6-1.

Re: 2012 World Series: Detroit Tigers vs. San Francisco Giants [SF leads 2-0]
This is just painful.
Verlander's shoulder was flying open game 1, and then game 2 the offense turns Madison Bumgarner into an ace again.

Re: 2012 World Series: Detroit Tigers vs. San Francisco Giants [SF leads 2-0]
im happy to see Lincecum having such a great WS out of the pen. Hopefully he returns to form next year because it was just weird seeing the Giants go with Zito over Lincecum in the Playoffs and Timmy not being a Ace
