He's terrible at Fenway, mostly because the park is unforgiving to lefthanded finesse pitchers and Lester's fastball is no better than average these days. On the road he was actually solid last year. I can see why KC would think he's a good bet. What I can't understand is why they would value Myers over Hosmer.

Lester's Fenway line in 18 starts, 6.31ERA 54 xBH 217 TB 15 HR 86/41 K/BB and a .302/.362/.508 slash line. That's just Lackeyesque.

Lester's road line in 15 starts 3.20 ERA 25 xBH 133 TB 10 HR 80/27 K/BB and a .238/.293/.364 slash line. That's not bad.

So given the road numbers and Lester's age/contract, if Boston's picking up part of the tab I can see why they'd want him. But, like I said, I can't believe they'd rather deal Hosmer than Myers. That's just stupid.

Hosmer had a hell of a slump this year. And after what Harper and Trout did KC thinks Myers is the next superstar

Rangers, Dodgers believed to be battling for Greinke at moment

Im mean do you really want Victorino over Ellsbury? I dont get the Victorino signing its alot of money for a 32 y/o that had a horrible 2nd half with the Dodgers
