Hi Guys,
My nine year old nephew is into soccer. He has only been playing a little while and would like to improve his skills. I never played the game so I have no clue how to help him. So, can anyone suggest a good coaching tips for him, it will be best for his soccer. Any idea, please share with me. Thanks, Alexis Allen

Re: What are the tips for Kids' Soccer Coaching?
Just play. Play alot. If he is 9 years old, he needs to get comfortable with having the ball at his feet, moving with the ball, passing, shooting etc etc.
If you want to help him, be the guy that has time to indulge this wish. Pass it back and forth with him, getting him to use both feet, get in nets and let him take shots at you, make him dribble and track him so he knows how to look after the ball when under pressure. Just enjoy having fun playing 'soccer' with your nephew.

if you want to increase his skill level beyond what you can do for him
there are youth soccer teams all over the country. Look in the phone book |

Re: What are the tips for Kids' Soccer Coaching?
set up a line of cones have him dribble/weave through at faster and faster pace - if there are other kids passing circles focusing on foot and mid-body (knees, chest, head) stops/controls
