Emmett averaged 20.6 ppg on 52.6% shooting as a senior, and averaged 17.6 ppg on 50.0% shooting in his four-year career at Texas Tech. He was named the Conference USA Player of the Year as a senior, and is only the fourth player in school history with 1,000 points, 450 assists and 170 steals, joining former Tigers Andre Turner, Elliot Perry and Otis Jackson. Burks ranks fifth all-time in steals (177) and sixth in assists (487), and led the team in assists in all three of his seasons at Memphis.

So, is a trade coming?

These signings give Memphis 14 players on the books for 2004-05, and that doesn't include Swift or Tsakalidis.

Any good rumors of a 2-for-1 or a 3-for-1 trade out there?

I'm thinking a trade has to be coming soon, Memphis just has so many quality players(swingmen particularly) on their roster. As it is, Emmett is like the 5th string SG, and could easily be a backup for most teams. Burks is a steal, and I was pretty disappointed we gave him away just for cash, I would've liked to trade him somewhere for a future 2nd Rounder, or kept him.
