I think J Will, only because he can't defend well and is almost at max value right now.

I think it could be any one of JWill, Watson or Bell because Miller seems to a solid half court playmaker which makes JWills shooting inconsistence a liability. Watson isn't a good shooter either but his strong defense is an advantage over JWill's inconsistency on defense. Watson doesn't push the ball up the floor like JWill can which creates a little problem because the point guard will need to be able to push the ball up the floor since this isn't one of Miller's strengths. Bell is the best offensive threat with great athleticism and defensive intensity but I don't know about his ability to push the ball. Antonio is a player with all the qualities that the Grizzlies need in a point guard but he is a rookie.
Bell's injury also complicates things.

My guess is Williams, and it doesn't have as much to do with specific issues with defense, money, or attitude. It comes down to the fact that Jerry didn't pick him. In any business, you'd rather have people working for you that you hand picked.

I think either Williams or Watson in a trade...but I voted for Watson because I think one of our wingmen will get dealt along with Watson.

I'm guessing JWill? He has the highest trade value and it's hard to believe in this day and age that so many teams don't have a solid PG. JWill is easily top 10 if not top 5, and teams like Toronto, Orlando, Cavs, Sonics could really use a guy like JWill.
My only concern is that JWill is a winner. Granted the grizzlies did lose a lot with him until last season, but he is a born winner. I for one, somehow knew he would eventually help turn the grizzlies around. He's helped turned Sac around until they ditched him, and now we're doing the same thing. If we trade him it better be to a eastern team because he can very well haunt us in the future. A good pg knows how to bring the best out of a team, and i thought he did a good job of that last year.

And how about a trade like that:
J-Will+Bonzi+Shane X Eddie Jones+Dwayne Wade
We`re in search of a PG who can lead us to the tittle in the near future and Miami, with Shaq's trade has lost so much deep but they start a win-now project and to win they need another wing player (they've just Jones and have no good PF). Miami will get an starting five with J-Will, Bonzi, Battier, (a PF signed with the mid level) and Shaq.
The Grizz get a young PG for years and years and get a very solid roster. We get Jones' contract but he's still a very good player and taking his contract from Miami would allow us to get Wade. Also think if the Grizz get Dampier for Swift and anything else, we can start the next season with a team looking like that:
Wade, Miller, Posey, Gasol and Dampier... AWESOME!!!
I don't know if Miami would do it (probably getting rid of Jones' contract would help to it) but we can also include a draft pick.
Salu2.

No team wants J Will thats the probelm. He is really a unproven PG that seems to come off as a head case. No team is going to want to pick up his contract until right before it comes off the books. Dwayne Wade isn't in the Shaq deal for a reason. They won't trade him for Shaq so he isn't going to be traded for J Will.

I would have to say Earl. JWill's contract is one that I dont think any other team would want. Plus, you remember Earl was having some problems last year with the management. He is in the last year of his contract and is probably gonna try to find a starting role on some other team. So, we should rather include him in a package and try to get something for him.

I dislike people like you. ( Well there opinions, not you personally)
Jason Williams is not the problem. Is he the sole reason the Grizzlies lost in the first round this year? No. Is everyone going to put the blame on Jason because of previous stereotypes? Yes. Well, at least most people. (MemphisX, ahhh hemmm. Sorry, I just had to do it )
How is he an unproved PG? Tell me that? Has he not proved that he can consistently put up numbers for any team he plays with. Good numbers at that. Don't tell me that 13 points a game, along with 7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game isn't good for a starting point guard, because it is. His contract is just and well earned. What is it anyway, 6 years, 42 million?? Ca mon, that's not even that much for a player of his potential and caliber.

I voted for JWill for 2 reasons.
1)You gonna get more back for him
and
2) A lot of teams are looking for a good PG. Anybody who says that he is unproven and a headcase is totally wrong. Because when he came to Memphis he became calm and the guy has been putting up great #'s for a PG.
