I know a lot of you are gonna say Gasol, and yeah yeah he's young and got tons of upside, but I mean someone real cutthroat.
What's stopping him from doing what Garnett did to him last night? His poor little wrist. Gimme a break. Iverson would play ball after getting hit by a truck.
Physically he may have it, talent wise he may have it, mentally, now that's the problem. Is theyre anything these bear cubs can do. Within the next two years Jerry is gonna clean house. He won't stand for this passionless basketball. He want's a leader so bad it makes him itch.

I've noticed some people have posted a possible Sprewell trade.
As we have an abundance of big men, and no slashing quick guards(besides Jwill, but he ain't gonna dunk on noone).
He's only got two years left on his contract. So if something could be worked out he wouldn't really be a financial burden.

If anybody has heard of or can think of anything realistic - Post it.
Something needs to be done.
The grizz have tons of great players but no guy to take over.

The Young Grizzlies will be there, They have loads of talent and players to make it happen...in time. Patience is the key and things just don't mold and connect over night. Theirs a few things, many will have to keep in mind. Chemistry is very important in the road to success. It's still considered a development process, especially with a young team, with a new coach and a GM. It'll be tough, but it will benefit in the in a few years.

The foundation is already there, upfront with Gasol & Gooden. These 2 will become a force in the NBA. Jerry know's the weaknesses and strengths to his ball club and you can bet, West will make the proper trades and acquisitions to help improve. The Grizz probably needs a quality veteran with leadership as guidance to this young team. Who??....we'll see

Who's the Go to guy??
I'm still sticking with Gasol, the guy can beat you in many ways, he'll step up and improve his all-around game. I see him as their young leader that is a very important in turning things around. I like what they have, Expect some possible trades for some young vets and they'll be alright

I wonder if the Grizz should consider trading some of their young talent for a Proven All Star, similar to what the Bulls did when they acquired Jalen Rose?

Brad Miller and Ron Artest were a lot to give up, but when you consider how their over-all play has improved since the deal it really make you think.
