No kidding. I've been waiting for a move for awhile now. Now that Cardinal is healthy, it doesn't seem like he has many minutes waiting for him.

With the 10-man rotation effectively abandoned, we can't just have three or four perfectly productive players getting DNP-CDs.

So how bad is this shoulder sprain? I haven't heard Poier and Cage talk about it much, and I haven't had time to read up.

Someone should call Cardinal the "The Thief," because he robbed the Grizz blind. This guy is worthless. Can't stay healthy.

I don't know. He was out an awfully long time with that ankle sprain, but he took a legitimate shot to the shoulder in his first game back that looked pretty painful. I think that Memphis has been keeping him out longer than needed because of the investment they made in him, and because Shane Battier, James Posey and even Ryan Humphrey and Dahntay Jones are holding down the fort at his position. That said, despite the things he brings to the court, we have a bunch of guys who do the same thing.

I think that signing Cardinal was unnecessary. Yeah, he brings hustle, shooting and aggression, but we have that already.

I think it was another move by West to increase the talent and depth on the roster, to help facilitate a trade. I mean the more talent and depth you have on the team the easier it is to trade parts of it.

I think there will be a trade before the deadline. But Grizzlies need a trade that is going to take the team to the next level. Not a trade just for the sake of it. I mean a Baron Davis for Williams trade would not bring the team closer to a championship anyway.

We have the shooters and the ballhandlers, but we need a true anchor down the middle. I would look at going for a guy like Nazr Mohammed. Young, big, athletic and he is playing well this year.He is also a guy that can score in the blocks and he needs to be bodied up too.

This will enhance Gasol's play, as he will not be doubled by the two opposition big men.

We need a trade to get Gasol one out with his man more often. So if we can trade for a big man that needs to be covered, then that works to our advantage and Gasol could explode even more.
