I recently read an excerpt from hoopshype.com quoting Paul Pierce saying something along the lines of, "Paul Pierce don't run plays like that."
The moment I read about Paul Pierce using himself in the third person is the exact moment that I start questioning who Paul Pierce really is as a person? Last time I checked, talking in the third person was anything but good. Mental instability anyone?
I'm not sure whether Paul Pierce would be good for a team like Memphis, a team trying to create a positive environment in the clubhouse. Pierce wouldnt' really fit in, would he? Nahhh.

A lot of players talk in 3rd person. Some friends I know talk in 3rd person on occasion, just for the heck of it. That doesn't show mental instability at all. The better concern is that Pierce doesn't fit on the floor with Gasol, Mighty Mouse, E. Jones, or whoever stays, but especially Gasol. I think Miller and Jones are better fits on the wings with Gasol than Pierce would be.

Yeah, they speak in the 3rd person just for the heck of it , only in a joking tone. Do you think Pierce is speaking in 3rd person during games just for the heck of it? You think he is saying to himself, "Hey, just for the heck of it, Paul Pierce is going to talk 3rd person, disregard what Paul Pierce's coach is saying and play how Paul Pierce wants to play - just to be funny." You think that's the case? Most likely not, but, like everyone else in this world, you are entitled your own opinion.
Your right though, Pierce doesn't even belong in this lineup in the first place. Unless someone is traded Pierce won't be happy playing in Memphis.

But it would also be nice to see. Pierce should have been in a Nuggets uni anyway. I'll never forget Raef!!!!
