What do you base that on? Was he done anything outside of high school? There's a big difference and a lot of development between the two and becoming a factor in the NBA. There are too many players that some people believe are super stars that are merely stars because they can't play a lick of defense..... it is better to have a playoff team based on sound defense until you land the player that has the competitiveness to high up the scoreboard every night and score the points that win the big games. Championship teams always have sound defense. All of other teams are playoff teams or lottery teams. If you can't be the champ, don't be a lottery team...

Green could be good down the road, but I don't think the Grizz have the time to develop him. They are planning to win now and want players to produce now, rather than having them sit on the bench or going to the NBDL.The Grizz are contending and having Green wouldn't make sense since he wouldn't contribute anyway.

The guy could be a player in 3 to 4 years, but in the meantime the Grizz will try to contend with Battier/Jones/Miller etc
