Re: Playoffs next season?
i watched the series. pau looked scared. passing up shots in the crucial moments. you can't have your team leader doing that kind of stuff if you want to win. being unselfish is one thing, but pau just didn't want the ball in crunch time. the formula for success includes a "killer instinct" factor, and the griz never had it. team is full of potential, but it needs to find that reliable second star, and pau needs to be more aggressive.

Pau was scared. He pumpfaked a free throw on a flagrant foul in Game 3.
Pump fake. On a free throw. With no one else in the lane. On your home court.
Most embarrassing moment in franchise history and a very poignant symbol for our playoff history.

Heh...agreed.
How I see the West right now...
1. Dallas
2. Phoenix
3. San Antonio
4. Houston (if T Mac is healthy)
5. Los Angeles Clippers
6. Sacremento Kings
7. Los Angeles Lakers
8. Denver
9. Utah
10. Seattle
11. Memphis
12. New Orleans
13. Minnesota
14. Golden State
15. Portland
The overall psychological effects of 0-12 will stary to be felt this season. A general doom and gloom will settle in because with the current group it is a known fact they will do nothing in the playoffs.

your ranking looks similar to mine. i just don't think that even with a healthy t-mac, the rockets will be able to do better than the clips. i just think that the southwest is too strong a division.
obviously, you got the mavs and spurs. then you got the griz, a team that has made playoffs last 3-4 years, then you got the upstart hornets. just too strong.

It just occurred to me that we'll could be the oldest team in the conference next season besides Houston. Except we don't have (potentially) two 25+ ppg players.
And we're easily the least athletic. That goes without saying.

Re: Playoffs next season?
This is what most Grizz fans don't understand, we have a serious roster problem. Serious. Two years ago Mike and Shane looked like they would be better than they turned out to be. Shane definitely has peaked, Mike Miller is suspect in nig games, and even Pau is a little shakey. I can forgive The Spaniard but the other two need to be moved.

Re: Playoffs next season?
i know this sounds terrible but really if we're gunna get swpt every playoffs then i would rather just not make the playoffs and get a lottery pick. next Greg Oden will be in it and soo..

Re: Playoffs next season?
Dallas and San Antonio cant be both in the top 3, since divison champs r top 3. But the NBA could change it this year.
