Summer league 06: Grizz beat down Mavericks, improve to 2-0
http://www.summerproleague.com/july10game4.pdf
Warrick leads scoring with 21. Roberson put up 16 points, and Roberts posted 12/9.
Tarence Kinsey and Andrea Glyniadakis scored 17 and 16 points respectively.
7'1 Glyniadakis has had a couple good games in a row.

To clear confusion, this is Dallas' B team.

Yeah, Dallas is fielding two teams for some reason.
This team Memphis played yesterday would struggle against Greenland's national team. I mean, I think Jelani McCoy was the center.

This Dallas B team is pathetic. Griz beat them by 30-somthing points. If Warrick can play this good against better teams in this summer league he may have some value otherwise trade him.

As if taking day one’s comments to heart, Hakim showed some flashes of a midrange game today in addition to his usual bursts of extreme athleticism. He felt so comfortable that at one point during a lull in the offense he shot a three from the corner with a surprising amount of fluidity. It didn’t go down, but it looked as though he might be able to tap into that kind of range at some point. Warrick lead all scorers with 21 points on 10 of 18 shooting including the spectacular monster dunks and put backs he has become known for. All in all this was a very promising game for Hakim and it will bode well for his future in the NBA if he continues to showcase these additional threats throughout the rest of the summer league.

In an unexpected surprise first round pick Kyle Lowry showed up to play for the Memphis Grizzlies. He scored 9 points and dished 5 assists and pretty much got to the rim at will. Lowry was easily the fastest player on the floor and had no trouble going baseline to baseline or weaving through defenders. Lowry was also very vocal during the game and played aggressive defense while talking a surprising amount of trash for his first game; much of it with Japanese fan favorite Yuta Tabuse.

Roberson scored 16 points and dropped 4 assists. Despite shooting 14 times in 20 minutes Grizzlies GM Jerry West was heard yelling at Roberson to shoot on a few occasions. A testament to what West feels is one of Anthony’s strengths. Going 3 for 5 from behind the arc Roberson showed that when open he can hit his shots. Anthony also showcased some impressive ball handling skills, faking his man out of position on several occasions.
