Well this is the same injury Yao Ming had and Yao had the surgery.

April 11 : X Ray reveals Jone's fracture to Yao's left foot

April 13 : Initial prognosis for Yao is he will miss 4-6 months

August 2: Yao still not expected to be able to go vs. Team USA

August 11: Yao finally returns to court vs. Germany

So it took Yao 4 months to get back after having the surgery which is the fastest road to recovery and Yao had no previous fracture history on the same foot. Maybe Pau's fracture is not as serious but I look for his recovery to take at least 4 months and possibly longer.

Ugh. Foot problems just linger and never seem to go away.

This is just awful. International competition has been great for basketball, but that's not much of a consolation when this happens to your franchise player.
