I really don't think it's a big deal...yet. He isn't demanding anything right now - just subtly hinting that the organization needs to improve its roster, which it does, and it's starting to move in the right direction.
Maybe this, even more than the 0-12 playoff record, will give Jerry West the motivation he's been lacking the past three seasons when he thought the core of Pau, Mike Miller and Shane Battier would get it done...
