Cinco de Mayo

Anyone remember him? He hardly played at all last season and now with Warrick, AJ and Roberts in the lineup, I don't see him as anything more than an afterthought on most fans' depth charts. Don't forget his role in the 04-05 playoff team after Gasol went down with plantar fasciitis. He was arguably the team's second-half MVP.

Cardinal may look less like an NBA basketball player than anyone in the league, but he can be a valuable role player when healthy. The problem is that he doesn't look like he's ever been in a gym and gets hurt because of his lack of conditioning and patently-reckless playing style. Will he make a bigger impact than most of us expect him to?

I think his role during Pau's last injury is overstated by most Grizz fans because they didn't expect much from him. We had a lot more talent 1-12 on those teams and it was NBA experienced talent.

Lol! He talks about being in shape and he has played 58, 36 and 28 games since he signed that fat contract with the Grizzlies.

I don't recall a worse signing in the history of the franchise.
