Well, they're having a big Gay promotion followed by a big Gay giveaway tonight, so we'll see what the turnout is. Attendance numbers have been in the dumps...maybe I get to move down to the first row tonight?

First game of a back-to-back with Dallas. At 1-6, Memphis has the worst record in the entire league.

Just got out-executed in the fourth quarter. Our team is comprised of a bunch of role players, and we don't have that fifth gear a team like the Mavericks have.

Overall, great offensive game for Hakim Warrick. Even Stromile Swift came to play - that'll probably be the best game we see from him this season - but our frontline seems to make Erick Dampier look like an All-Star every time.

Our problems on both sides of the ball were finally exploited by a better team in that last quarter.

Amazing what a faster pace can do for your athletic 6'8 210-pound power forward and your athletic 6'9 220-pound center. Why it took Fratello eight games to figure that out, I won't even try to analyze.

Not that Czar has done a coaching 180. He still left Damon Stoudamire and Chucky Atkins out there to be tortured by Jet Terry and Devin Harris late in the game.

And holy cow, what happened to Mike Miller's D? He's never been known as a good defender, but man, didn't he at least used to give an effort? He's getting scorched by everyone and just looks totally confused.

Nice showing for Rudy Gay on his promotion night. We advertise him as our go-to guy until the tip-off. Then, our coaching staff treats him like the 10th man.

This team is really going deeper and deeper on mediocrity.
