What a good game and gutsy performance.

Not many negatives here besides the porous interior D and usual bad rebounding. Chucky and Mike's shots were on target tonight, Alexander Johnson brought the hustle, and Rudy Gay is growing up and forcing Fratello to give him more minutes. Gasol is also regaining his scoring touch.

When Gasol was in, and from midway through the fourth quarter until the end, we were starting to see flashes of that "exciting basketball" that was advertised way back in October.

At the moment, AJ is bringing more to the table than Warrick. Namely, defense and rebounding.

With Johnson's emergence, hopefully this means the last we see of Jake. When Roberts comes back, possibly Stro will get banished to the IR as well.

I (and I would imagine X as well) said in the past that when Gasol came back, he wouldn't be on the floor much with Warrick. They both have the same deficiencies - defense and rebounding - only Warrick's are more glaring at this point (I would guess because he's much smaller).

With AJ, there's more of a balance. He does all the dirty work, and he seems to enjoy it.
