Gasol removed from banner?
Ok, this is no hard source, but the Grizzlies have seemed to remove his picture from the banner at the top of the Web site.

At the top, there's a flash banner with individual players. Yesterday, he was one of the several individual player flashes, and now you can refresh it 100 times like I have. He's no longer there. The only player flashes the site has are of Mike Miller, Rudy Gay, Eddie Jones and Damon Stoudamire.
This mirrors, IIRC, what the Web site did when Jason Williams was dealt.
The trade, IMO, will be announced within 48 hours.

There is actually a precedent for the banners thing. Raptors.com took off Carter, Rose, Araujo, etc. shortly before they were traded.

I just went there and Pau was the first and third player to come up. Chucky Atkins was the second

I can't get him to come up for the life of me. Chucky either for that matter. I feel like I've refreshed for 20 minutes now.
Anyway, false alarm it looks like. That's one thing to watch for in the next few days though.
