Pau Gasol, Damon Stoudamire and Dahntay Jones

Shaun Livingston, Corey Maggette, Rebracca, Korolev and Clippers 2007 1st rounder (They still have Minny's pick)

Why Memphis does it: Memphis gets a PG with some promise and a proven NBA scorer to play until Rudy is ready. Memphis also sheds Damon's contract while picking up another 2007 1st round pick and interesting prospect Korolev. Rebraca is cut.

Why the Clippers do it: Clippers get a high post option to pair with Brand and Kaman (off da bench). Gasol is young enough that the Clippers could have the best frontcourt for the rest of the decade. They get a veteran PG to replace Livingston and a good perimeter defender in Jones. They also retain Minny's pick to grab some young legs for the backcourt in the summer.

i don't see the point in helping the clippers like that.. for shaun livingston and a pick possibly not even in the lottery? horrible. clippers would take that trade i bet.

Clippers won't trade Livingston for Pau, since they didn't include him for neither Iverson or Carter...
