Some nice pictures, thanks for sharing.
How serious is Lowry's ankle injury ? I hope he can beat out Stoudamire for the backup point guard or maybe he will come of the bench as the first guard. Not so thrilled about your impressions on Rudy, the ballhandling ability will be crucial in his development, at least he has gotten stronger over the summer.

Rudy seems so worried about getting stripped in traffic that he just pulls up for jumpers and has a tendency to fade away. I hope i am wrong but ge just does not look the part of future big time wing scorer.

Stoudamire's going to be the starter, at least before Conley usurps him in December or January.
And I don't mind that - grooming Conley as a starter gradually for a few months is a good idea, and Iavaroni seems very liberal in using his bench.

I don't know, starting Stoudamire would be nothing more than a "oh-wait-he-is-a-rookie-he-needs-to-earn-the-starting-job" move. If they want to showcase Stoudamire, that's fine, but a year too late, this team needs to move forward and get rid of old ballast. Conley is not the type of guy who will lose his entire confidence when things are not going the way he imagined to, I'm sure he'll have more impact than Mighty Mouse though.

That seems more of a confidence problem then, the only way to improve in that area will be getting minutes and showing that he can play. I still have a lot of confidence in him, but he needs to put it together relatively soon because the minutes will be hard-fought assuming that Iavaroni uses the depth that Memphis has.

Damon finally looks to be recovered from the knee injury though. As long as he plays like 2005 Damon and not "exploded knee" Damon, then it's a good move.
Now, if Damon continues to look like he's playing hurt and still starting at the All-Star Break, that's something Mike Fratello would do. The Czar would also just play him 10 mpg. Iavaroni looks like he'll be playing Conley 20-24 mpg, starter or not starter. That's all that really matters.
There's a lot of young talent on the team. Aside from Damon, the longest NBA-tenured players on the roster are Mike, Pau and Cardinal. But this is still a team that can win now.
