Well, I know that coming from Grizzlies website, there will be a lot of optimistic talk, but it really seems that our players and coach Hollins are at least trying to change our culture. I can only hope that we start with a good draft while making some noise in offseason.

Maybe the Grizzlies get lucky so that they can draft Griffin.

If that doesn't happen, I'm not sure in which direction they need to go. There isn't someone who will make a huge difference and this team is already young enough. They need to bring in some veterans who can still play, not guys like Greg Buckner.

Conley has come on strong towards the end of the season, but is he really going to be the long-term solution ? If every of the young players can take at least a little step forward, there should be internal improvement. Most notably, Rudy needs to get his act together, he has been a disappointment this season. Part of that is the inept offense, but there is no reason for him to have a year like that.

conley has been disappointing. he's finished well near the end of the season the last two years but always failed to impress for the first 2/3 of the season. that's just not good enough. the bulls drafted derrick rose even though they had kirk hinrich(who produced immediately), and conley at this point hasn't shown he can be anything but a decent point guard in the league. grizzlies need to take the best player available in the draft. nobody on this roster is worth keeping except for rudy gay(even though he needs to step up more) and oj mayo, not even conley.
