Hate to say it but this move concerns me a little. The Grizzlies have a long history of investing their money into the wrong players, and giving Miller a contract in the 8 to 10 million dollar range is a a fairly big risk.
The guy has never even averaged 16 points a game and he has missed a truck load of games due to injury the past few years.
I guess they are assuming that Miller will be healthy next year and that his stats will improve drastically.
Am I the only one who thinks they are rolling the dice here?
The other thing that concerns me is the fact that by this time next season the Grizz could have over 30 million per year committed to a core of Gasol, Miller, and J-Will......
That trio is not even close to championship caliber IMO.
Are we doming ourselves to mediocrity?
