What...a...game.
That beats the 2OT Laker/Spur game earlier this year.
Everyone came to play tonight. Miller did a fantastic job tonight, as did Gasol. Battier played amazing. Wow.

I just wanted to say this was a great game to watch. I was watching this game and Justice League on Cartoon Network. Both were so good I was having a hard time turning away.
Either way, great win for the Grizz on the road and how about Pau Gasol.
Where are those trade Gasol fools at now? I love him. He has some serious talent. I think if he knew that everyone looked at him as the go-to guy he would assert himself like he does when he plays for the Spanish NT.
As for the Gasol Haters:
Edit: Also forget to give props to my main men Battier and Miller too. They played terrific and made big plays in the 4th and both OT's.

Hello!
Gasol hater is still here! Actually I aint a hater I just think Swift has just as much potential and they would get more back if they traded Gasol. He had a good game tonight but even though he scored 37 how many boards did he get, how many blocks? Again no D from Pau!!

Pau had 11 rebounds and 5 blocks, and he did it all without complaining the refs.
I was very happy with Pau tonight. He even did a good job at the free-throw line down the stretch.

Well, obviously Gasol can be a dominant player. He just needs to do it on a daily basis. If he plays like this every game, trust me, I would be more than happy to have him signed to big multiyear contract.
What about Swift eh? Every time he gets minutes he puts up solid stats.
give watson a break. 6-1 pg vs. 6-8 pg? rookie or not it's a mismatch. if i were hubie i'd have Miller play point as well. putting watson on James is suicide.

Gasol had a good game tonight, but let's just see how he does in the following five games after. I'm still going to hate on Gasol unless he gives a stat line like that day in and day out. (I would be happy with 20 ppg, 37 is quite a reach to do day in and day out)
You can't get rid of all the skeptcism in one game. It's just not reasonable. People still doubt J-Will even though he had a great year this past one. Will's having a solid campaign this year too. I would like for Gasol to be a superstar in this league but he is going to stop whining to the officials and just play his game. He can deal with not being that big, he makes up for it in his quickness. I don't think Gasol knows how good he actually is. I don't know, maybe well just have to see.

When I say Gasol haters I am only kidding. Besides you don't see say anything about it when he has bad games right?

I was lucky enough to be at the game last night. It looked pretty bad for the 2 1/2 quarters and I was a bit shocked when we started to come back.
Gasol didn't show up until after that run. At one point I looked up at the scoreboard and he some how had 16 points. He had been terrible up until that point. Late in the game he posted up strong and his touch was silky soft. He knocked down so prime time free throws. The issue is still there. He is a defensive liability which had lot to do with their big lead. The zone safed him. His upper body strength is Junior High School level. If he played for a Memphis city school, he would have trouble getting the ball up above his head and holding it just like he does in the NBA. If he addresses he upper body strength, he have an all-star.
Z's Euro defense helped his numbers and after he fouled out, Diop was too slow and not agressive enough to push him out. But so of his finger roll lay-ins were exceptional for a Seven Footer.
Miller and Battier were great. Miller controlled the tempo and gave the team a sense of confidence whereas the Cavs had the misfortune of having Ricky Davis on their team. He is a bone head. He is the biggest bone head. I am laughing. He is the biggest bone head. Please, no on the Grizzlies boards suggest that anyone on our squad, even Ryan Humphrey, should be traded for Ricky Davis. He is a $5,000,000 bone head.
Since, I critize Gasol a lot. I will say that he is a great offensive player who struggles to play defense because his upper body strength won't allow him too.
I was worried when JWill had to leave the game. CMo and CDog, believe it or not but I was sitting there thinking, I'm not going to get to see JWill. Win or lose, he is exciting. He made a behind the back pass while he was he that caught everbody in the area flatfooted. His mind is on a different plain than everyone elses. But I wish he could control the tempo the Mike Miller did last night. They would be perfect. He always seems like time is running out and that affects the team's sense of confidence.
Wow, we won an exciting game....
