Matchups to Watch

Pau Gasol is out for revenge tonight against Lamar Odom.
Jason Williams will likely see action for the first time in ten games tonight against Miami.
</center>
Head Coach: Hubie Brown
<a class="sag" href="#top">Back to Top</a>
Notes
The Grizzlies look to rebuild a winning streak by facing the team that snapped the former one tonight at home. Memphis is coming off a tough road-home-road-home schedule, with impressive wins over New Jersey and Sacramento. Jason Williams is likely to play tonight, after sitting out nine games with a back injury. He will see limited minutes, according to Hubie Brown, and will probably come off the bench. Pau Gasol looks to capitalize on his 22 point performance against the Kings on Tuesday; he will be matched against the man that outplayed him badly last week in Miami -- Lamar Odom.
Keys to Victory
Memphis should be out for blood tonight and attack the Heat relentlessly. Lamar Odom will most likely be a load again for our PFs, but having JWill will be nice, provided he doesn't show any ill effects of his injury. Miami is a hapless 2-12 on the road.
Injury Report
- Jason Williams (strained back muscle) is probable.
- Dahntay Jones (sore left Achilles), Theron Smith (back spasms), and Ryan Humphrey (concussion) are on the injured list.
Clubhouse
Official Memphis/Miami Game Thread (12/12)
Box Score (12/12) - Memphis (88) Miami (91)
Box Score (12/16) - Memphis (105) Sacramento (100)
Head Coach: Stan Van Gundy
<a class="sag" href="#top">Back to Top</a>
Notes
Dwyane Wade has been on fire lately for the Heat, leading them in scoring for most of the past week, including dropping 32 on Atlanta. Caron Butler, supposedly over his preseason knee injury, has played very poorly over the same span. Lamar Odom hasn't stopped since the Heat's win over Memphis and is putting in nearly 17 ppg and 9 rpg over the course of the season. Any of the Heat Big Three (including Eddie Jones) could go off for 25-30, so they'll force Memphis to play some staggering defense.
Keys to Victory
Exploit Pau Gasol's defensive weaknesses like last game. Lamar Odom was huge, especially down the stretch, last Friday, and they will likely go back to that. They'll need production from Rafer Alston off the bench, who nailed some key three-pointers the last go-round with the Grizz.
Injury Report
- Samaki Walker (ankle stress reaction), Jerome Beasley (lower back sprain), and Wang Zhi Zhi (patella tendinitus) are on the injured list.

REVENGE!! They killed our win streak!! Of course, it was mostly our own fault, but Odom had a huge game.
BLOW THEM OUT LIKE WE DID AGAINST THE NETS!!!

Once again, I won't be able to see the game on TV.
I'll have to tape it again.

I hope someone reminds Pau that Lamar Odom is left-handed. Odom is nowhere near as effective when he's forced to go right. Pau and the rest of the team should be out for some revenge tonight. It should be noted that Miami has only won 2 road games this season.

Hopefully, the Heat fans pay us a visit in this thread. The last game thread was a hit because of some of the Miami fans.
Anyways. I'm out. Be back after the game. Go Grizz.

that's what i call revenge.
hopefully the heat weren't silly enough to think they actually had a chance. no way they can keep up with the grizz when they're playing up to their potential.
