Bonzi is a game time decision. Posey may or may not play as well.

Is another trade needed? Does Big Jake even get any minutes?

I don't get it
I don't get the fact no one on this team can play at least 40 minutes in a game. Is it some rule of something I don't know about. Gasol played great and the guy went to the line 17 times and he played less minutes than Miller who is sucking right now. I thought Hubie was going to play the best players. It's like Hubie and West have a sweet spot for Miller. And why can't Jake get any minutes. His size is reason enough alone to play.
Miller is pitiful. When he first got here I thought this guy would turn around his reputation for being an inconsistent player. it's like he has lost all confidence in his ability. I would rather have had Jones start in Miller's place. Miller doesn't know what it means to be a shooting guard.
I don't think that I was wrong in my assuption that the team could turn into the Orlando Magic. Losing is a disease and it spreads through the whole team.
Will West make a trade and bring in someone that wants to play. I still say Ratliff would be great for the team. His defense is wasted on the Atlanta Hawks. I get tired of seeing guys just walk to the basket on our team and no one says anything. It's one thing to be nice off the court but on it a player needs to be Nasty. That's the one thing that I hated about Dahntay Jones when he was at Duke. The guy was nasty and that's what the Grizzlies need now.

My brother said that the team looked tired out there in the third quarter, and I just told him that that isn't an excuse at all. No one on the team plays more than 32 minutes per game. If they're tired with a ten man rotation, then they'd be EXHAUSTED playing on a benchless team.
We simply gave up another one down the stretch, after this team has been lauded for having one of the best fourth-quarter-closeout records in the league. Gasol played a great game with only a couple noticeable mental lapses. He could take it to anyone the Sonics threw at him. Unfortunately, he didn't get any help. Mike Miller hasn't had a good game -- heck, he hasn't had a SO-SO game -- since we played the Heat. The FG percentage from our bench wasn't bad, but they simply can't put points on the board when the lineup is Watson (or Miller)/Jones/Posey/Outlaw/Swift (or Wright). We missed Bonzi badly, especially defending Ray Allen, who had two out-of-bounds touchdown catches for easy layups in the last two minutes. Rashard Lewis was also on fire, but he should be with as many open looks in the corner he got.
The Pyramid was virtually empty, but I still sat next to and in front of some real idiots. An old racist Gasol and JWill hater and some people who knew nothing about this team or basketball in general -- except to yell DE-FENSE whenever the other team had the ball.
Some comments overheard:
"Good. Bonzi's not playing. He always kills us anyways. I liked that Wesley Person guy better. But now that Bonzi's out, we get to see more of that Troy Bell guy!"
"Git Gasol ou'ta there! Git 'em out! Put in BO!" (Heard numerous times, when Pau was tripling the next highest Grizzly's score.)
It'll be nice sitting next to some proper fans during the Jazz game.
I'm not looking forward to the next Power Rankings.

The team is not looking good right now. Yes, the players look tired. They're not physically tired, just their confidence is down(that happens when you have a 6 game losing streak). A win would get this team back on track. Right now, they need to stop thinking about the playoffs, or their current record, and just focus on the next game.
I think the team is just struggling right now(happens with every team sometime during a season). Better now than in say, February when we're trying to contend for that playoff spot.

It's been ten years, and I say if Michael Jordan chose to still play the game of basketball, he'd dominate.
