Notes
The Grizzlies pull into the home stretch with 30 wins, already two higher than the franchise record, the latest coming against the Los Angeles Clippers last Wednesday. The win was the fifth in the last six games. Pau Gasol had 22 points and has used the All-Star break to rest his sore back. Mike Miller, who received heavier minutes against the Clips, and Bonzi Wells also surely used the time to heal nagging injuries. The Grizzlies will face off tonight against Dallas in an attempt to defeat the Mavericks twice in a season for the first time in history.
Injury Report
Troy Bell (sore left knee), Theron Smith (back spasms), and Ryan Humphrey (concussion) are on the injured list.

Notes
The Mavericks have won four out of five and sit at 3rd place in the Midwest standings. They avenged the early loss to Memphis 104-98 in late December. Although All-Star Dirk Nowitzki will start at center, he gives every reason for worry all over the court. Dallas defeated New York 105-90 behind Dirk's 27 points and 12 rebounds. Michael Finley added 25 and 10 as well. Nowitzki's been on a roll lately, averaging 30 ppg and 10 rpg in the past four games, which should concern Memphis, who lacks a frontcourt defensive stopper.
Injury Report
Eduardo Najera (sore left knee) is doubtful. Tariq Abdul-Wahad (sore left knee), Tony Delk (sprained left ankle) and Jon Stefansson (sprained left ankle) are on the injured list.

Just in time for tipoff, the game thread is up and running.
The pace in this one is going to be fast and furious. Let's get off to a hot start in the last stretch of the regular season. The playoffs are in our grasp if we can win games like these.
Dirk is going to eat us alive, I'm afraid. Whenever we play Dallas, we basically pick our poison, because one guy is inevitably going to come out on fire. The trick is to containing the others. Posey locked down Sprewell earlier in the month -- let's see if he can do the same to Michael Finley.

Courtney Kirkland, the a-hole that made the horrible call at the end of the last Detroit game, is one of the refs tonight.

Looking good so far. I wonder how long Nelson will keep this lineup on the floor, since we're doing so well on the glass. 10-6 in the rebounds.
This thing is advertised on Fox Sports Net, but I'm instead getting a fantastic ( ) ACC game. FSN's getting an angry letter.

It's been an extremely balanced attack so far. Posey leads the Grizz with ten points, though we have three other players with eight or more.

Matt Devlin just said that Courtney Kirkland apologized to Earl Watson before the game for the bad call at Detroit.
