Gooden is ready, He will be one of the rookies to really shine during the year. He's a PF with a lot of athleticsm. He's one player I'm really curious about and can't wait to see already

That's very good, we know it's only pre-season, but I'm sure he's going to put up some impressive stats this year

gooden vs. stro

looks like gooden will get solid PT this season, if this one games shows anything. the question is, does stromile get traded? if so, when? who needs a swift on their theam? with some time on the court stromile can put up some good numbers. i've always loved him but he needs to get on-court experience. might there be interest in a future lineup with gooden, swift, and gasol? gooden threw up 2 3's tonight- how's his outside shot? i'd hold onto swift for the time being; his stock should go up.

Man, the Grizzlies have some pretty nice depth for a supposedly cupcake franchise. I say 'supposedly', because that's how the organization is viewed from a general NBA point of view.

Some teams would love to be able to choose between Gooden and Swift as their STARTER, the Grizzlies get to choose between those two for which to bring off the BENCH first.

I personally wished Gooden had stayed at Kansas. We could use him this year. He is a player. I've seen him played the pst 3 years at Kansas. He had IMPROVE a lot. I remember that after the draft, many fans asked why draft Drew, and he will not be the player they want. I think you have seen a glimpse on why Jerry West drafted him.
