Re: Gold Medal (8/24): United States vs Spain (2:30 AM ET on NBC)
I stayed up until 4 in the morning to watch this game and seeing Rudy Fernandez driving past Kobe and slamming it home made it worth it. That was sick, wicked and nasty!

The Spanish team was straight up outplayed by a superior American squad... take it like men.
In Spain we have a phrase for that... "No hay peor ciego que el que no quiere ver": The worst blind is the one that doesn't want to see :-)
Now seriously, this is news, an official referee from the Olympic games has said that, and since it was a subject that was discussed here, I felt that an update was needed. I'm not opening the discussion, in fact, the players have already said that they won't complain or anything, the game is over, period, but this is relevant for historic reasons.
