USA vs Brazil 8PM Monday 7-16 ESPN2
US Women's team will also play Brazil at 5:30 PM Eastern on ESPN2. This should be far more of a test for the USA team as Brazil has some legitimate talent and should be able to contend for a medal if they perform well in London.

While I agree that Brasil is a threat to medal in the end they match up poorly with the US due to a lack of overall athleticism on the wings. I think they would be a tough out for Spain though.

I think this team plays pretty well together personally. I have even seen times when they make the extra pass too often. Tonight the shots from outside aren't falling...at least not yet.

They'll dominate the 2nd half. The defense is starting to get better as is the ball movement. Kobe and LeBron should post up more.

Re: USA vs Brazil 8PM Monday 7-16 ESPN2
Brazil turned over the ball like ten times in the second quarter and they are still only losing by 5. This US team will struggle against Spain... al they do is score in transition.

Re: USA vs Brazil 8PM Monday 7-16 ESPN2
Give em some time man. I would think they're gonna lean on the transition game more in these early games..they've had like what? 2weeks of practice?

I sure as hell don't like President Obama politically, but he really is a basketball fan and I do love that.

True... Their depth is the only reason they'll win this game though. They just keep pressuring brazil with fresh bodies.

Re: USA vs Brazil 8PM Monday 7-16 ESPN2
I didn't catch the game, but saw some highlights on ESPN while I was at the gym. Apparently everyone played poorly except for LeBron who went beast mode. Good thing we've got James. This team will be fine though, just need some more practice time.
