lol... Transformers, man it was a good show from what I seen. I'm glad you like the name, or at least I think you like the name.

For your question... It may be a fair deal, depends if Baxter will be any good as a backup like Fizer. Chicago definitely doesn't need Anthony Carter, so we'd have to throw in Roger Mason Jr. or something. I would do it though, because the Heat's pick may be lottery again next year.

Just joking, DeJuan! They will be in the playoffs this year, they have the talent for the 5th or 6th seed! I like the Heat, but I guess my Chicago biasm gets in the way sometimes.

The Heat had enough talent BEFORE the draft to grab the 6th seed. The 2nd best team in the East was DETROIT, and I definitely feel that we measured up to Detroit.

Remember, the only reason we did not make the playoffs was due to our horrendous start. We began the season 5-23. After that, we played .600 level basketball for the rest of the season. Even with A HORRIBLE Point Guard (Carter) and an even worst starting Small Foward (Gill).


This Heat team, this Heat team with a year of chemistry under it's belt, will take the #1 seed in the East. EASILY. If we actually get a point guard who can make the open 3, then we'll be battling for the best record in the league.

I Hate You

Come on now, you can't be serious about the Heat contending for the best record in the league. The Heat probaly wont make the playoffs next season. There's just too many better, younger, more talnted teams in the East. With teams like Indiana, New Jersey, Detroit, Boston, New Orleans, Orlando, Milwaukee, Philidelphia and Toronto in the East I just cant see Miami making the playoffs. Even if one of these teams "slipped" out of the playoffs Miami would still have trouble overtaking Washington, New York, and maybe Atlanta to get the 8th seed in the East. And also Miamis getting up there in age. If I ran the Heat team I'd be smart enough to recognize that with this team we'd be hard pressed to even make the playofffs let alone go anyone in the playoffs, and just start the rebuilding process now. I'm sure there are some true contenders out there who could use some of Miamis veterans. Im sure a team like Sacramento could use someone like Briant Grant. (I know, they couldnt afford his overpaid contract) But I think Miami trading Brian Grant for a younger potential future star like say Gerald Wallace would be nice.
