JWill X 2?
Quote:
The Heat could soon be home to Jason Williams -- and Jason Williams.
With its current Jason Williams sidelined by tendinitis in his right knee, the Heat recently worked out the former Duke point guard of the same name.
General Manager Randy Pfund attended the session in Carson, Calif., last week during the Heat's recently completed five-game trip.
"Randy was keeping tabs," Williams' representative, Kevin Bradbury, said Sunday. "We really don't know what the time line is. Randy was happy with what he saw."

I personally have alot of liking in Fitch. He's a tall, long PG and seems to have atleast some potential. JWill had a ton of potential going into the league, but since his accident, he hasn't suited up....if he's back, why hasn't anyone picked him up this summer or since? I just don't buy into Jay Will being back to himself...but then again, look at how TJ Ford has came back.

Re: JWill X 2?
Why not give him a shot? Fitch has looked decent, but Jay Will is a superior talent, no doubt about it. I don't care what injuries he's had. Give the man a shot.

ummm....I care what injuries he's had. Didn't he tear all three ligaments in his knee? Am I remembering right? After injuries like that I'd be surprised he could hold his own at the local YMCA.

Re: JWill X 2?
He is more of PG than Fitch and Riley will not play Fitch unless Wade and Payton foul out.
I wonder what will happen to Simien probably wont get much playing time and wouldnt be suprised they trade him along with Walker.

Re: JWill X 2?
Id much rather see Haslem go than Walker. Haslem is a major inconvenience defensively if you ask me.
EDIT: WHOOPS! I meant Simien, not Walker.

Re: JWill X 2?
if he was ready, a team with cap space (ATLANTA) would have offered him more money than us.
if he is ready, he isnt coming to Miami to be third string.

be surprised. according to latest reports, he's 85% of what he was. that may sound great but he wasn't an All-Star or anything before. as great as this all sounds, it may be a bit premature.

yes i think eventually Simien will be better than Haslem but not by much they are both undersized PF's but Simien sure does rebound well for his size although Haslem is more of a hustler type of player.

See my edit. I meant Simien. I think Simien=Haslem with more upside. I personally want Walker gone.

I'm not so sure you can call Simien undersized when the guy measured a legit 6'9" in shoes weighing in around 255 pounds. On top of that he has a nice wingspan for a man his size. When he's in the game you can easily tell he's bigger than UD who goes around 6"8 225-230.

Yeah. Isn't he around Zo's height? That can't be undersized.
