So what's up with the Shaq story here? Seems kind of BS to me.

Pretty much Shaq is complaining that Pat specifically told Shaq (and the media) that he wasn't going to trade him. I think this is probably due to the fact that everybody thought Shaq was untradeable (even Pat said so).

So in the article, it says that Shaq and his agent tried to organize a buy-out or trade.

So Shaq's the one who made it difficult for Riley.. if anything, he's the one who made Riley trade him, yet he's putting the blame on Pat?

Shaq got what he wanted, so why is he crying? So what, even if Riley said he wouldn't trade him, it was obvious Shaq wanted out and all he was doing was riding the pine. Was Riley going to pay him 20 mill a year just to sit?

I wouldn't mind it if I was a Heat fan. You got what you wanted out of Shaq, and now you're rid of him without having to pay his whole salary. While it might not be good now it's definitely going to get better.

So if Shaq didn't live up to his promise when he came to the Heat that he will "bring a championship to Miami", could Riley start whining to the media how Shaq is a liar, etc. etc. etc.?

Shaq is a ****ing baby. I respect everything he's accomplished and what he did for us in Miami, which might be more than anyone outside of Zo and Dwyane, but he's burning bridges here now and it's completely unneccessary.

Oh yeah, he has so much respect for Arison which is why he tried to get a buyout to go play for Mark Cuban and the Mavs. This guy is just a joke.

He's trying to play up to the media by joining the "Riley is evil" ranks. Kind of like how 4 years ago he agreed with the media angle that "Kobe forced the Lakers to trade Shaq" and then we found out that it was Jerry Buss who traded Shaq because Shaq wanted an extension at $25 million per year and Buss didn't want to give it to him. It was just Shaq using the situation to make others hate Kobe.

Now whatever media consensus comes out, be it "Riley traded Shaq when he said he wouldn't," Shaq is going to agree with it just to get people to hate Riley. Typical scumbag Shaq.
