As far as Wittman, that franchise is an epic disaster, which hurts since they're actually my second favorite franchise, even from the Arenas days. Wittman is my nominee to be the new Ron Rothstein if Rothstein ever retires.

Wow, kind of shocked by Livingston being cut. Not his fault they had to rely on him to do more than he is capable of. He was doing a pretty good job as the backup before all of their injuries.

Yeah, that's the problem. I'd hope, though, that they'd be willing to cut ties with the 14th/15th man in order to solidify a position in jeopardy of being an extreme weak link should one of our two options there go down. I really think we need a 3rd PG. Would be a nice story, with us being the first team to give him another chance after that horrific injury.

I wouldn't think twice about trading Jorts, especially since I expected him to at least be an occasional specialist by this point, and he's never even dressed.

I'm wondering if SAC would only let Cousins go with a pick being the centerpiece if it's a lotto pick. That'll come down to whether or not teams are willing to relinquish one knowing they're taking on a big risk. The issue with this is, most teams with likely lotto picks in hand won't have a situation/coach conducive to reigning in Psycho DMC. Then, OKC comes to mind. Petri could really look like a genius if he can use that TOR pick to acquire Cousins. The Thunder would be infinitely scary if that happened. Ibaka is playing like an animal right now, and would compliment the hell out of Cousins. If no team is willing to give up a lotto for him, the Phirst could project to be the first one outside of the lotto. Who we attach it with could be an issue, though, and as W2 said, we'd have to take back a filthy contract.
