Re: Game 26: Heat @ Bobcats (12/26 7:00PM)
78-71 after 3
Heat went up as much as 19, so of course that wasnt gonna hold. Worst shooting game of the season for the Heat. Kemba Walker, Sessions and Warrick are pretty much the only scoring options for the Bobcats, but tonight they're all hot.

Re: Game 26: Heat @ Bobcats (12/26 7:00PM)
Heat win 105-92
Extremely sluggish game. I guess it was to be expected. Wade started the 1st 3 quarters having a bad shooting game. Ended up shooting 10-19 for 29 points, with 13 coming in the 4th. Also had 9 rebounds and 5 assits. Lebron started like a house on fire, then slept walked until the end of the game. He still had 27/12/8/4. ****ing beast. Mario with 17. Back to back great games by him.

Re: Game 26: Heat @ Bobcats (12/26 7:00PM)
Good game to miss. Great start and then it was about a 13-15 pt lead throughout until the end of the 3rd and most of the 4th. Got as low as 2 before Lebron hit a 3, Wade hit 2 J's and Battier hit a 3 to ice the game.

Re: Game 26: Heat @ Bobcats (12/26 7:00PM)
Yeah, I saw we were up 19, then 17 at the half, and figured we'd push it damn-near 30 in the 3rd, only to see it at 13, 11, then 7 going into the fourth. I figured it would be a nail-biter 'til the end.

Heat Nation hasn't been showing up here as much as last season. I expect the Ibizas and Rather Uniques and PLs etc back by the playoffs.

Hey lads-I'm here in proxy, but up the coast with the family over holidays. I've been watching box scores and reading the threads though, just on my phone!
Good to see us continuing our winning ways. 6 in a row now, good shit

Re: Game 26: Heat @ Bobcats (12/26 7:00PM)
I try to watch as many games as possible but honestly, once I got my dose of Heat at the beginning of the season and got to see how the team is playing with Ray Allen, besides a game now and then, I just somehow don't really care much for the regular season anymore. I would pretty much just tune in for the big games if I can. I just started my own agency as well so that has been keeping me pretty busy.
We are so good, in a way, it's bad because I really don't care much about the regular season anymore and I think a lot of legit fans feels the same way. We could finish with the 2nd or 3rd seed and I wouldn't really care. I'm almost interested to watch other teams to scout them than to watch The Heat. A guy asked me the other day, how do you feel about The Heat losing to the Wiz? Meh. It really just doesn't matter. The irony is that I might tune in to games if one of the big three gets hurt because I will find it more interesting and will be interested to see how the team faces adversity and adapts to playing without one of their top 3 player. |

Re: Game 26: Heat @ Bobcats (12/26 7:00PM)
LeBron is too damn exciting for me not to want to tune in every game, coupled with the fact I just love basketball. Shit, I watched every game til the end of the XX season, many in person.
But yeah, the regular season has gotten much less meaningful. Would be nice if I could keep that in mind when we're playing like shit. |

Re: Game 26: Heat @ Bobcats (12/26 7:00PM)
The thing is that Heat don't play like they are on a mission.
They could probably challenge the Bulls for the 72-10 season but they are not there mentally and it shows. I was actually a little worried during the season that we will have another 06-07 debacle by the time we hit the playoffs but when the Heat turn it on, especially LeBron, its over so I'm not worried anymore unless we have key injuries. I love basketball, that is why I still watch bball almost every 2 nights, I just don't watch the Heat that much anymore. I am not a big fan of Lebron either so I don't tune in just to watch him. I have grown to dislike him a lot less since last season, it is true that playing the vilain doesn't fit him and since he has become more professional, I have started to like him more but he is not in my top 5 or maybe even top 10 favorite players. I think he is the best player in the world, but I'm not a fan of his game. I have realized lately that I am much more fan of athletic shooters: Durant, Kobe, JR Smith, T-Mac, ... Wade was probably the only one who didn't fit that mold exactly but he used to have a very good mid range shot. Lebron is starting to develop a sick shot, I think I will be more of a fan once he becomes a deadly shooter. |
