Re: Game 29: Heat @ Magic (12/31 5:00PM)
After having just got to the basket and laying it up with ease, Lebron decides to settle for a long J to try to ice it

Re: Game 29: Heat @ Magic (12/31 5:00PM)
Lebron hits both.
Heat win 112-110 One of the more frustrating wins in a while. But at least its a win. Heat now gotta go home and regroup. They got a ton to work on. Lebron with 10 of the 13 OT points. 36/11/8 for the game Vucevic with a monster 20/29 game Ray was great tonight. Hope he didnt re-aggravate that shoulder injury too bad.

Jesus, Wade...
This is a loss that counts as a win. How the hell did we let this happen after the last two games? Are we really just not very good? ORL has been getting killed by bad teams lately. So shameful. Quote:

Re: Game 29: Heat @ Magic (12/31 5:00PM)
The fact we are #29th in the NBA in rebounds per game, only .3 off Boston for worst in the NBA, concerns me greatly....let alone the fact we just allowed NIKOLA VUCEVIC to grab a franchise best 29 (!!!) rebounds...while Bosh has 4...
Oh, and we're 18th in the NBA in team defense. That's gotta be a decade long franchise worst, right? Riles, please get a big man right now. Not a Turiaf/Dampier faux big man, a legit big man who can start and play 25-30 minutes a night.

Re: Game 29: Heat @ Magic (12/31 5:00PM)
Such a tall task. If we're going to get a big who can play 25 a night and rebound like a freak, we're going to have to give up something in some other department in terms of his skill set. Can't let that be defense, so it'll have to be scoring. A Reggie Evans-type, but hopefully not that extreme offensively.

^ Yeah, teams aren't just giving away competent dudes.
I'd like Jordan Hill, but Lakers would never deal him to us.

Re: Game 29: Heat @ Magic (12/31 5:00PM)
Yeah I keep thinking how awesome it would've been if we managed to sign him. Seemed he may've fell out of favor with D'Antoni a few weeks ago, but he's been put back in the rotation. At my most naively optimistic I'd hoped they'd take one or two of our shooters for him. I think that's the position/role we'd have the easiest time filling from the draft.

Re: Game 29: Heat @ Magic (12/31 5:00PM)
Yeah, I dont know if they'd do a deal with us, but we have what that D'Antoni system thrives on and that's shooters. Mike Miller, Lewis, JJ, ect, would fit nicely in that offense.
