Wade sprains foot
Link
''I couldn't feel my foot, it was very numb,'' Wade said. ``Once I got the feeling back, I knew it wasn't good. I still tried to come out and play.''
Wade played 25 minutes Sunday but sat the final 17:50 with a right mid-foot sprain and was in a walking boot by the time he boarded the team bus. X-rays were negative, but his status for Tuesday's game against the Raptors is unknown.
The injury occurred after Milwaukee's Michael Redd stripped Wade and was headed for a layup on the other end. Wade attempted to block what looked to be an easy layup, as did Lamar Odom, who was racing in from behind.
Right before Wade landed, Odom crashed into Redd, sending Redd toppling over Wade, and the rookie's right foot was contorted under it all.
''I came down wrong, and then Michael Redd, with the impact of Lamar hitting him, just fell on my foot,'' Wade said.

Bottom line: Wade needs to take better care of his body. He's still got a long way to go (his career).

its not like you can help injuries like that.....
going up and coming down on someones foot is something that just happens--i'm sure anyone who's played basketball at any level has messed up their ankle a few times...personally, i do it atleast once a month or so---theres nothing you can do to prevent stuff like that....

he is unbelievably clumsy! he worries about the takeoff aand not about the landing...
if anyone saw how he landed face first in milwakee's game would know what im talking about.
i thought he broke his nose right there.

Heat lose Wade for a week
3/1/2004
MIAMI (AP) - Heat guard Dwyane Wade has a bone bruise in his right foot and is expected to be out a week to 10 days.
X-rays and an MRI exam were negative and Wade's foot was in a protective walking boot, the team said Monday.
He most likely will miss three to five games, including the Heat's game Tuesday at home against the Toronto Raptors. Wade already has missed 18 games with injuries to his left foot, wrist and hip.
The rookie hurt his right foot when he landed at the bottom of a three-player pile after trying to block a shot during Sunday's loss at Milwaukee. He played 15 minutes after the injury but sat out the fourth quarter.
