Rafer Alston's future
I get the impression he's getting out of there?
No one gives him any love.. but he's played really well this season, as well as any backup PG in the league.. look at his ast-to... sure the fg could improve but who couldn't plus he's a threat from downtown..
cmon now, whats the dill

i think he'll stay
he's not gonna be a starting PG anywhere--we're one of the few teams that gave him a chance and i think he should repay us for that by coming back

IMO, whoever gives him money is where he will go.

It's a shame that a solid PG like Alston can't find a place to call home for more than a year.

IMO he'll ge tthe best offer in here.
jones will probably be shipped this offseason possibly to charlotte.
wade can play 2, caron 3, odom 4, and we'll need a pick to get a big guy.
alston has a chance of being our starting pg next year.
the guy passes very well, handles like no other, shoots the 3, and plays good D.

I agree Joker. Although I don't get to watch games too often, the fact is that he's proving himself to be a very capable NBA point guard. Whether he'll win titles as the starter for an NBA team is a different story. But if we go big in the draft, then we really ought to spend the dough to keep Rafer around, even if we have to sign him to a multi-year deal. He's kind of a fan-favorite, and Riley has to see that.

I agree with both Joker and dirtysam.
He's been good so far, averaging near 10 points and 5 ast in just 30 mins of play. Draft big, and resign Skip looks good to me.

I agree with everything except the first part. I doubt Miami will be able to ship Jones out anywhere, I couldn't see anyone wanting to pick up his ridiculous contract.

as much as i love earl, he probably deserves at least boykins money b/c of his ability to run the show... doesnt turn over the ball... maybe not a long-term answer but maybe a some-time nba starter?

I'm sure he'll be doing so during the summer.
Playing during the season in the league for $$$, and playing during the summer on the streets for the love of the game.
