I'm glad Riley's finally breaking down and pulling the trigger on this. As impactful as NBA practices are for these guys, they probably won't develop very quickly until they get some floor time somewhere.

Should be at least a decent confidence booster for them.

D-League debuts

Dorell Wright and Earl Barron made their NBA Development League debuts Thursday night, with Wright scoring 11 points on 5-of-13 shooting and Barron six on 3-of-11 shooting for the Florida Flame. Each played 25 minutes. The two still are under contract to the Heat but on loan to the minor-league team located in Fort Myers. Wright and Barron came off the bench in a 106-102 loss to the visiting Toros of Austin, Texas. Wright also had three assists and three rebounds. Barron had eight rebounds.
