For a lot more elbow room here at bbb. It seems that we loose to the Suns with a less than healthy team, and all of a sudden our fellow "fans" start the bashing of our team that they "support." First it was SVG, now starting to be Shaq, the hate train is rolling. *Sits back and waits for the hate towards Riles and Wade to start*

I wouldnt call it bashing, i call it more like "pissed off at the moment and showing concern" type of thing. But i wouldnt rule out the possibility of bandwagoners for the Heat. The city of Miami is well known for that(i.e. Marlins). theres just so much to do here, so many distractions, that for many ppl, pro-sports are their 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th option for entertainment.

I, in the other hand, am not a Heat bandwagoner, ive been there through thick and thin, back from the days of the Heat/Knicks rivalry.

But i agree with you to a certain extent, ive read some crazy stuff in the Heat forum coming from our own fellow heat fans. lets see what happens as the season progress.

Are you sure your a Heat fan??..I actually seen Shaq come out on pick and rolls today, we're losing in everyway possible, tehre makign almost everything, we can blame it on Shaq!! If somthing blame it on us missing our starting back court..

I can decifer the line of disgruntled fan and bandwagoner. Yes I dont mind the 'well *Insert players name here* could do *insert something here* to improve the teams play' but I've seen, or atleast gotten the vibe, from some people that they have just straight up ripped the team. Some of the posts are just obvious bashing of the team. And like I stated before, I can tell if someone is blowing off steam, or flat out ripping the team. This thread probably makes me seem like an ***, but you can put me under the "blowing off steam" catagorey.

And whats wrong with the "blind faith" approach? :biggrin:

Ah I see, so anybody who hasn't registered on this forum before 03 must be a bandwagon fan. Because being a Heat fan and being a registered member on an internet message board go hand and hand. Makes perfect sense. I guess that's why such a small portion of this board are Heat fans, because your so "uninviting." In fact, I didn't feel very welcome here in the beginning because you were always making some silly comment about bandwagoners and insinuating that the new members were those bandwagoners if i remember correctly.

Fact of the matter is, there is no way to tell who is or isn't a bandwagoner over the internet. Maybe you should just ban all of the new members, and keep the 4 or 5 of you that registered before 03. That should be exciting.

im beginning to feel some tension between some of us....

c`mon guys, theres stuff more important than accusing one or the other of being a "bandwagoner" or whatever, we have a Heat season in our hands.
I dont blame anyone for being pissed off at the Heats performance, cuz we all have big expectations in our team. In the end we all want whats best for the Heat, and we are all aiming for one goal: a Championship.

Well let me just remind you, he promised Miami a championship. And i'm gonna hold him to it. So when I see him out there giving little effort or just flat out being lazy, i'm gonna critisize him for it. That wasn't the case tonight thankfully. It's pretty easy to see when Shaq's trying and when he's being lackadaisical. Sometimes it just seems like he doesn't care because he's already got his contract extension. That bothers me.

i see where your coming from with shaq. either hes still recovering to full health, or hes just not putting the effort(or maybe a little bit of both). I just hope when we make the playoffs, shaq is at full strength and picks up his game, same for the rest of the team. This F***** injury "bug" is getting really annoying

Anyways the bashing has been to an extreme even last year was the same early on when we are getting beaten by superior teaqms like Dallas, and Spurs. Also i dont certainly think Miami has gotten worser than Last year, last year Miami was having trouble beating superior team and fully healthy. This year simply is Detroit has gotten alot better and Indiana is falling apart.
