After the Francis trade, what do you think? For those that haven't seen it, the deal was...

Imo, it currently make's the division weaker, but I love this Magic team's youth and upside. Dwight, Jameer, Diener, Ariza, Darko....that's scary. What are your thoughts? On a side note, even though I'm a Heatien for life, I'm a Dwight die-hard, I'll hype him just as much as I do Wade.

i think it got better. Magic were doing nothing with Francis, so they got 2 role players(Ariza, Penny) to play off of Dwight. I think the magic added a bit of depth in other positions to solidify their lineup. they were already too stacked at the PG. Now Jameer will flourish as a starter, and we all know what Dooling can do at backup. like ive said before, if the magic make a couple of more moves, i think this Magic team is gonna look very promising for the future.

The Magic were irrelevant in our division before hand, and as of now are still irrelevant. But, next summer the Magic will have a ton of money to spend on some free agents. They are in GREAT shape.

agreed. plus remember that they also have that expiring contract with Penny, so the team can get rid of him if they please.

There's still a PG logjam, but they're in very good shape.

Still, signing Dooling was obviously a mistake for them. They were better off trying to develop the talent they had (Nelson, had just drafted Diener) than trying to get another me-first combo guard (I liked Keyon here but that's what he was sometimes) like Francis. Glad they got rid of him though. He would've just continued to hold Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson back.
