I'll be keeping track of my franchise in 2k7 here if you guys don't mind. I plan on getting pretty in depth. I'll (hopefully) get the game on tuesday and I'll try to start tuesday or sometime next week.

By Oct. 10th, the Heat have faced big injuries to James Posey and Antoine Walker who went down twice. The Heat are 14-5, mostly due in part to the big 3 -Wade, Haslem, O'Neal.- Haslem is avg. 11/8 while Wade is dropping 23.1, O'Neal 17.3 and Williams at 13.1.
Next update: After Lakers game

Heat pull one out against Kobe & Co. without Wade
It was back-and-forth the whole game. By the time the final minutes rolled around, it was whoever had the ball last type of game. With 1:36 left to go, Kobe Bryant drove, and in his way-Dwyane Wade. Wade did not plant his feet, getting hit with his 6th foul. Franticaly, Coach Pat Riley turned to the bench and yelled out "Gansey!" In came the young, un-drafted rookie, Mike Gansey to face Kobe Bryant. The game came down to the end, but with key shots made by Antoine Walker and Gansey himself, the Heat were able to make it out with the W aginst the Lakers.
"It was a great feeling," said Gansey, who totaled 9 points, "Playing against Kobe was an out-of-body experience that I won't forget. I'm just happy we got the win, and keep moving."
For his first game back from an MCL injury, Shaquille O'Neal chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds, and Jason Williams had a great all-around game with 14 pts, 7 asst., and 5 steals.

Heat enjoy stay atop the East, as the season enters half-time.
At the ASB, the Heat sit on top of the East at 34-18, 2.5 games ahead of the Pistons (31-20). In the past month, Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O'Neal have proven their worth to the team. At the mid-point, Wade is avg. 24.1 ppg with 7.9 rpg. O'Neal has had huge games as of late, and is avg. 16.6ppg and 8.3 rpg thus far. The biggest asset off of the bench so far is James Posey, who is netting 10.8 per.
When asked about how the Heat will do in the second half of the year, Udonis Haslem replied, "Right now we're clicking. Coach has been running us hard, but now we get a few days off to relax, but once we get back it's all business, there's no quit in this team."
When asked about him being voted as the starter in the ASG, Dwyane Wade calmly said, "It's just another game."

"Why now!?"
Were the words of a Heat fan the other day. At this time of the season, fans are supposed to be happy and excited, but not Heat fans. Why, you ask? Well, imagine a total of 28 days without Jason Williams and....Dwyane Wade! Both were injured late into the season, and the Heat are left in worry. They will face the Cavs, who can now upset them if they wish. During the season, rookie Mike Gansey re-placed Wade when he was injured, and more then held his own.
"Mike is a scraper. When he's pushed, he isn't afraid to push back," said a wobbled Wade. "He can play, now let's see if he can put it on the line. I have faith in him, and the whole team."
When Shaq asked about the absence of Williams and Wade, Shaq said "Oh well, I guess we'll take them in 5 games now."

Season End's in a sad fashion; off-season begins
After fighting past injuries of Dwyane Wade, Jason Williams, James Posey, Jason Kapono and Shaquille O'Neal, the Heat managed to find their way to the finals, again...against Dallas. It was a hard fought series, but Dallas got revenge on their foes. When the off-season rolled around, Gary Payton and Coach Pat Riley announced that they will no longer be around, and retiered. Alonzo Mourning re-signed for 3 more years, Earl Barron and James Posey also re-signed. The Heat have recently signed Free Agent Point Guard, Rauol Lopez.

I'm in a league online...
Made a big deal, sending Shaq, Udonis, Kapono, and DA to Dallas for Dirk, Stack, Anthony Johnson, and Greg Buckner.
The combo of Dirk (97) and Wade (98) is basically unstoppable...putting Dirk at C, Toine at PF, Posey at SF, Wade at SG and JWill at PG is unreal, everyone can shoot, and it's damn near unguardable
