MIAMI (TICKER)—Jason Taylor no longer wants to play for the Miami Dolphins, according to a report on the Miami Herald web site.

Citing two sources, the newspaper reported Monday that the five-time Pro Bowl defensive end wants out of Miami, though he knows he is at the mercy of the team.

The Dolphins, who have Taylor under contract for two more years, have made no public or private concession that they will either trade or release him.

I wonder what the Dolphins could fetch for him at his age.

There were reports earlier this offseason that the Packers and the Vikings offered 2nd and 3rd round picks for him.

He's still one of the best defensive players in the league and has never really had injury problems. I'm sure many teams would love to have him.
