Eventually, Yi was ushered to a remote area of the terminal to conduct a brief news conference with reporters.

"It's a brand new start for me," Yi said through a translator. "I feel so excited that so many fans and media come here to see me."

Yi is expected to practice with the Bucks on Thursday and meet his new teammates. He had spent the past few days playing for the Chinese national team in the CBA-Euroleague Challenge in his home country.

"The most exciting thing is, today I can start to play as a Bucks player for the team," Yi said.

You can tell he's sincerely happy in those pics, very good to see. You know what they say, keep your expectations low and things will always seem better - and that's exactly Yi's attitude with Milwaukee.

That's crazy how fans can just go up and hug him though, SECURITY!
