JS: Bogut's trainer sees progress

St. Francis - Sinisa Markovic has been a fixture at the Cousins Center during the past month.
Andrew Bogut's personal trainer attended Bucks practice sessions and monitored the progress of his 7-foot pupil, who showed up rested and ready for training camp. On Monday, it was time for Markovic to make the long flight from the U.S. back to Australia, with stops in Los Angeles and Sydney before reaching Melbourne.
Bogut showed off his improved game in practice today, helping the Black team win three straight games against the White squad in a 5-on-5 full-court scrimmage. The second game ended on a Bogut jumper, gving the Black team a 14-6 victory.
In the third game, Bogut scored on a short shot from the lane for a 14-13 victory for his team. The Black squad included a starting unit of Michael Redd, Mo Williams, Bogut, Yi Jianlian and Desmond Mason.
"I think it was the most important part of the training," Markovic said of the sustained rest Bogut received during the off-season. "It benefited him to get in better shape."
Due to an injury to his left foot suffered late in the NBA season, the center did not play for the Australian national team this summer but trained on his own, under Markovic's direction.
