UP NEXT
Teams: Milwaukee Bucks (9-12) vs. Boston Celtics (18-2).
When: 6:30 tonight.
Where: TD Banknorth Garden, Boston.
Broadcasts: TV - FSN Wisconsin cable. Radio - AM-620.
About the Celtics: Boston can tie a franchise record for the best start to a season at home. If the Celtics beat the Bucks, they will have a 12-0 home mark, matching the 1984-'85 team, which advanced to the NBA Finals. The Celtics are riding a seven-game winning streak, including a 90-78 home-court victory over Sacramento on Wednesday night. Paul Pierce scored 26 points as the Celtics took control in the second half. "When they make that trip here and look at our record, we want them to think twice," Pierce said of NBA opponents. "That, in itself, is an intimidation factor."
PLAYER TO WATCH
GLEN DAVIS, Celtics
The 289-pound rookie from Louisiana State made his first pro start on Wednesday, with Kendrick Perkins injured. Kevin Garnett moved to center and Davis started in the power forward slot, in the first starting lineup change for the Celtics this season. The player affectionately called "Big Baby" responded with 16 points and nine rebounds against the Kings.

Boston - Only two members of the Boston Celtics' Big Three were available on Friday night, but that proved to be plenty to turn back the Milwaukee Bucks.
With guard Ray Allen wearing a stylish brown suit and sitting on the Boston bench, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce played their part as the Celtics beat the Bucks, 104-82, and tied a franchise record with a 12-0 start on the TD Banknorth Garden court.
Allen sat out due to a sore right ankle, an injury he sustained in a Nov. 24 game at Charlotte. He had continued to play since then despite the pain, but Celtics coach Doc Rivers decided to rest Allen on Friday.
Pierce drained 4 three-pointers in the third quarter as the Celtics (19-2) outscored the Bucks in the period, 32-15, to take control of the game. The Boston veteran was 4 for 6 from three-point range in the quarter.
Pierce finished with a season-high 32 points before exiting to a standing ovation with 7:20 remaining, and Garnett added 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes as the Celtics won their eighth consecutive game. Point guard Rajon Rondo finished with 17 points and eight assists.
Boston matched the 12 straight home-court victories at the start of a season recorded by the 1984-'85 Celtics. The Celtics could set a new franchise mark by defeating Detroit at home next week.
The Celtics won their 16th game by more than 10 points. Milwaukee (9-13), which returns home to play the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night, dropped to a 2-11 mark on the road.
Bucks coach Larry Krystkowiak went exclusively with reserves in the final quarter, after the Celtics built a 78-59 lead after three quarters. Point guard Mo Williams scored 14 points to lead the Bucks, forward Bobby Simmons had 11 and forward Yi Jianlian added 10 points
