Martin has missed the last two games because of a sore right hamstring, but is hoping to return against the Bucks. PLAYER OF THE GAME: Forward Carmelo Anthony scored 17 of Denver's first 33 points and got the Nuggets pointed in the right direction early.

PLAY OF THE GAME: Early in the second quarter, Denver reserve forward Linas Kleiza was leading the fast break down the sideline when he offered a perfect lob pass at the rim to Allen Iverson, who threw down an emphatic one-handed dunk for a 35-21 lead.

OFF THE BENCH: Things were going so badly for the Bucks in the first half that coach Larry Krystkowiak played little-used Awvee Storey for the final 3 minutes of the second quarter. Prior to that, Storey had played a total of 17 minutes this season in four games. He ended up playing 10 minutes in the game.

STATISTICS SHEET: In the first half, the Bucks made 13 of 44 shots (29.5%), 1 of 11 three-pointers (9.1%), committed 12 turnovers, and were out-rebounded, 29-15. Denver made 26 of 44 shots (59.1%).
