Yi continues to be the bright spot of the Bucks season, and the league gives him the December rookie of the month award:

Miami - The National Basketball Association announced today that Milwaukee Bucks forward Yi Jianlian had been named Eastern Conference rookie of the month for December.
Yi averaged 12.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.1 blocked shots and 30.6 minutes in 16 games. In December, Yi was second among rookies in scoring and rebounding, and his 50.3% field-goal shooting was the best among rookies who took at least three shots per game.
On consecutive Saturdays in December, Yi posted career highs in points.
On Dec. 15, Yi was 9-for-14 from the field and finished with 22 points and seven rebounds in a victory over Minnesota. The following Saturday, he scored 29 points on 14-of-17 FG shooting and also finished with 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals and a blocked shot in a victory over Charlotte.
Over his last 10 games, Yi has averaged 14.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocked shots.
