Game Thread, Bucks vs Jazz, 8 pm, Utah
Quote:
Teams: Milwaukee Bucks (15-22) vs. Utah Jazz (21-17).
When: 8 tonight.
Where: Energy Solutions Arena, Salt Lake City.
Broadcasts: TV - FSN Wisconsin cable. Radio - AM-620.
About the Jazz: Utah has played well recently, winning its last five home games, including victories over Portland, Phoenix and Orlando. The Jazz shot 53%, including 45% from three-point range, in a 119-115 victory over the Magic on Saturday night. Andrei Kirilenko returned to the lineup after sitting out the previous three games with a back injury, and he was not far from a triple-double with 16 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. Point guard Deron Williams had 17 points and 11 assists. Forward Carlos Boozer has recorded 25 double-doubles in 38 games.
PLAYER TO WATCH
KYLE KORVER, Jazz
The former Creighton star was a Bucks killer when he was with the Philadelphia 76ers, and he scored 20 points (4 for 5 from three-point range) in Philadelphia's 114-99 victory over Milwaukee on Nov. 27. But the 6-foot-7 forward was acquired by the Jazz in a Dec. 29 trade that sent Gordan Giricek and a protected first-round pick to the 76ers. The Jazz coveted Korver as an additional perimeter threat and to provide scoring punch off the bench. He has scored in double figures in three of the last five games, including a 14-point outing against his former 76ers teammates and an 11-point effort in a Jazz victory over the Suns last week.

If you havn't already seen, go watch Bogut dunk on Boozer (#3 on Top Ten). Loving the emotion from Bogut, a big like that can take you places.

Re: Game Thread, Bucks vs Jazz, 8 pm, Utah
Alas, another loss despite the good play of Bogut:
PLAYER OF THE GAME eron Williams had a few uncharacteristic turnovers but he took over in the fourth quarter and directed the Jazz to victory. His driving basket and free throw with 1 minute 30 seconds left gave Utah a 93-82 lead and sent the Jazz fans streaming to the exits. The former Illinois guard finished with 33 points and 10 assists, and he sank 16 of 20 free throws.
Quote:
PLAY OF THE GAME:Andrew Bogut blocked a shot by Jazz forward Mehmet Okur at the rim, then controlled the rebound and dribbled downcourt. The Bucks center made a behind-the-back pass to Mo Williams in the left corner, and Williams drilled a three-pointer, putting the Bucks ahead, 62-59, with 5:37 left in the third quarter as the players on the Bucks bench jumped high in the air to celebrate.
STATISTICS SHEET: The Bucks were shooting 57.1% through three quarters (32 for 56) but held just a 72-71 lead. They cooled off in the fourth quarter and shot 45.9% for the game. Utah shot 49.3%.
OFF THE BENCH:Charlie Bell scored 11 points to lead the Bucks' reserves, but the Milwaukee bench was outscored, 23-15. Paul Millsap led the Jazz bench players with 11 points, and Kyle Korver added seven.

It's nice that block made the top ten. Bogut deserves the attention.

Re: Game Thread, Bucks vs Jazz, 8 pm, Utah
Hes so skilled for a big guy. He brought the ball up, round the back pass to Mo for a 3. Was a pin point pass 2!
The Dunk on Boozer was ridiculous...massive, got me out of my chair!
Hes really playin well so far this month - hope he keeps up this consistency.
